Gold Lion

I haven't seen the latest issue of Foam Magazine yet, but L.A. Models Blog posted the "Golden Girl" story I did with Brooke Nipar.

This is the second time I've worked for the mag, and I really like where they are going with it. I think it's really cute!

In other news, I'm loving the mint green varnish at the Fall '09 Chanel show...

Kimmie Kyees gave me an amazing gel manicure last night with layers of glitter and stars and little metallic flecks! It looks like I have disco balls on the ends of my fingers, and I'm loving it, so it might be awhile before I try mint green!

P.S. Thanks so much to What The Pros Do for the awesome shout out!

Swagger Like Us

Brooke Nipar told me about this video...  I had forgotten about it, but I just ran across it again.

Film by Greg Kadel, Make Up by Kabuki (another make up artist to "obsess over")

And speaking of Greg Kadel... I'm pretty obsessed with the shoot he did with M.I.A. (for obvious reasons)...

I purchased the magazine at the airport before my flight to the UK.  It was wrapped in plastic, so I couldn't get a preview, but I knew I had to buy it simply because of the lipstick. Is that weird? :)

True Colors

Check out this new Giant Drag promo picture.

Annie looks so Poison Ivy-era Drew Barrymore. Love love! More pics soon, I'm sure.

I Wanna Be Your Dog

I know I haven't been here much lately, not only did my laptop crash and burn, I've been really busy doing some amazing work.  I've done cool music videos with The Ting Tings (there's a little MTV article here), and Uffie.  I did some cool shoots with Scott Weiland, worked with an actress from the new movie Twilight, an actress from 90210, and an actress from Heroes.  I did a magazine cover with Victoria's Secret model Angela Lindvall using all eco friendly products (more on that later, but for now visit green make up artist)... Shot a tennis player with Claire and Jeremy, did a cool underwater shoot with Dan Monick, did another Playstation ad, got to work with Jason Nocito, Autumn De Wilde, and did quite a few amazing shoots with Alex Prager...

I've also continued my never ending search for the perfect pair of false lashes!  I've found gypsy lashes!  Their website is really out dated, but the lashes are amazing and can be found at Cinema Secrets.  I must warn you though, my favorite pair are #96, so I braved the Halloween crowd and purchased the last four pairs they had.

Other than that, life is great!  Here's a shoot I did with Cory Kennedy for Foam magazine (shot by Dan Monick).

And here are some Lee Jeans ads I did with Brooke Nipar.

Also, it's kind of late notice, but my friends at WeSC are having a party today.  It's sure to go off, so if you live in LA you should go!

Team Awesome

My friend Brooke Nipar commented on last night's post to tell me that Robert Greene is represented by See Management.  I looked at his portfolio, and just as I suspected... He is AMAZING!!!

As with most great make up artists, he comes from an art background. It's cool to see that we share a few clients! I love that!
