Kissing Your Friends Is The Most Fun

My buddy Mark The Cobrasnake had a bird's eye view backstage for Jeremy Scott's show at NYFW!

Jeremy is brillz x 1000!  He's one of my favorite contemporary designers.  I've been lucky enough to meet him a few times and spend some quality time with him when I was working with The Gossip.  He's an extremely sweet, fiercely loyal, passionate designer, with an amazing sense of humor, and it shows in his work!

Of course, as a makeup artist, I was especially obsessed with the images Mark captured of the models getting their faces painted!

Super amazing look!  It's like vintage glam meets modern day chola! Dying for it!

As for the new collection, I don't think I can pull of the shopping bag top, but my life will simply not be complete until these garments are hanging in my closet!  I feel like this dress was made just for ME, and you KNOW I love a good tshirt!

Check out the rest of Jeremy's mind blowing collection at style.com!  Enjoy!

Chloë Sevigny's red carpet appearance at HBO's Emmy after-party was featured as "look of the day" on Frech Vogue.

Do What You Do

Hi everybody! I hope you're Summer was amazing.  Pardon my absence, I've been busy working away!  New work with The Ting Tings, Marina and the Diamonds, Chloë Sevigny, and lots, lots more!

I was recently asked in the comments how, as a makeup artist, I would apply the TEN Natural Cheek Stain that I'm loving right now.

I like to use a small foundation brush (my favorite is Paintbrush Two from Billy B. Beauty)

and apply it to the apples of the cheeks.  You can also apply it with the container, and then blend out the edges with a foundation brush.  Be creative! There are no rules.

Check out a quick Q&A that my friends at Lipgloss Chicas did with me.

They've been doing some great updates, so follow their blog! It's amazing.

I'm working on getting my links section up to speed with all my latest blog crushes.  More updates soon!
