Tired Yet

KanYe and Perez  like The Ting Tings video.

I like...

Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited in 362 (fuschia!)

and the fact that I just tried to say "appearance" and "experience" at the same time, and created the new word apperience...

I had a long day on a music video yesterday, two jobs today, and a very early call time tomorrow... I'm tired, but I'm not complaining!

Crazy For You

Two things I can't live without right now are Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base

and Butter London nail varnish in Dolly Bird

The illuminating base looks great under make up or alone, and the nail varnish I picked up in the Sacramento airport.  Score!

What It Feels Like For A Girl

About a month ago I found this really cool clothing line called Made Me. I found out about the line when I read about the designer on the NYLON website. I love to wear mens clothing (jeans, vests, jackets, even mens shoes) but, of course, add my own feminine flirty flare to it, so when I read the line “I have always found power and attractiveness in women that dress with a masculine style.”, I knew I had to check it out.

When I cruised over to the site, most of the pieces were sold out, but I did manage to snag the First To Fall T-Shirt

They came in the mail on Saturday and I was seriously so impressed that I emailed Erin, the designer just to say thank you!  (I know, I'm such a dork!)...  And she emailed me back!  So cool!

I wore my Virgin T yesterday and when I was at Perez Hilton's office (aka The Coffee Bean on Sunset and Fairfax) waiting for my second Americano of the day, this very stylish older woman that looked like Debbie Harry flashed a huge smile at me and said "I love your shirt".  I grinned from ear to ear and said "thank you" and my heart danced around in my chest a little.

And so here's a gift to my loyal and stylish readers in case you want to snap up the last few MadeMe shirts (jeans, jackets, hoodies, leggings) available:

Karmaloop LLC

Erin also sent me a sneak peek at her Spring line and I'm totally dying over it!  Here's a little peek for you!

P.S. Could that model look any more like Sade? LOVE!

Lip Service

Uh oh, new obsession alert!

I'm already a big fan of Tarte cosmetics...
I love their cheek stains

And their eye shadow

Today I was on a shoot with a super cool designer (more on that later), and she had this great lip stain with her!

It was tarte 24.7 lip sheer

It was a great natural color that really stayed put! It also has SPF which is wonderful. Most stains tend to crease and settle in the cracks of your lips (and kind of look like you've been drinking Hawaiian Punch!), but not these! There's a color for every day of the week and I want them all!

Lips Like Sugar

My latest obsession is The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ.

I picked it up over the weekend when I went to The Beauty Closet, and I'm ADDICTED!  I used to use a toothbrush to exfoliate my lips, but not anymore!  This is just too perfect!  I rub it on in a circular motion and then wipe it off.  (Ok, who am I kidding... I lick it off.  It's made of brown sugar! Sooo yum!) It keeps my lips feeling really really smooth!

It comes in a bunch of different yummy flavors like Brown Sugar, Vanilla Bean, Cocoa, Cinnamon Sugar and Peppermint!

My favorite is Brown Sugar.

The packaging is sooo to die for that it would make a great stocking stuffer!

Gadget Girl

I just found the cutest website called Shana Logic. They have this Lego ring that I am totally dying over!

As my best friend Annie would say, I want that!
(It kind of reminds me of Kanye's belt!)

Nars lip lacquer in Chelsea Girls

Such a great nude color that's glossy but no shimmer!

I've been loving long time, but it just won Allure magazine's 2007 Best of Beauty award!

*Nars has a pretty dece make-up artist discount, but if you aren't a make-up artist, Sephora is currently having it's annual "Friends and Family" promotion.  Through Nov. 21st, enter "FF2007" at check out and receive 20% off.  Sephora also has free shipping on orders over $50 when you enter "FIFTY" at check out, so knock yourself out!

I get facials at Dermix Medical Spa in Toluca Lake.  My bff Annie turned me on to them.  They are the best.  I've been sending all of my friends there.  I highly recommend them (if you go, tell them I sent you, they love referrals).   They've been using this lip balm on me at the end of my treatment and my lips feel so amazing afterwards.  On Thursday I had a facial and I bought the cream.  I've been using it ever since and my lips feel moisturized, protected, and plumped (they make no claims that it plumps lips, but I really feel like it does)!

Grey clothing:

I realized I've been wearing a lot of grey lately, I have no idea why...
I'm totally obsessed with The Eve Jean by WeSc in "Vintage Black" (let's not kid ourselves here, it's grey)

I've also been wearing this totally cute dress from American Apparel (visit at your own risk, some images are kinda NSFW)

It's really cute and comfy. I put a belt around it so I don't look pregnant.  I love American Apparel! Where else can you get such a cute dress for $36?!

Speaking of comfy, you should check out Skater Socks!

I'm really picky about socks.  I like to say I have "toe line issues". If you have the same problem, this needs no explanation.  I'm on my feet all day, and I have to be comfortable!  For awhile I would only wear Gap athletic tube socks.  A friend of mine gave me some skater socks and I love them!  Not only are they MUCH CUTER than Gap socks, they are super, super comfy!

I finally saw it, and I loved it!  It was heart breaking and beautiful.  One of my favorite photographers, Anton Corbijn, directed it so of course every frame of the movie was mind blowing.  If it is playing anywhere near you (I had to make a 15 mile trek to Pasadena), I suggest you see it.

The song "Rockferry" has been rockferry-ing my face for the past three days.  She's been compared to Amy Winehouse, but I think she sounds more like Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, and how great is her hair?!

Speaking of hair, I've been totally obsessed with Urban Experiment hair products.

Urban Experiment is the new line of hair products from Redken.  The Grit Wax is my favorite.

It gives you a great "second day look" so your hair doesn't look so clean.  Ick.

The Holidays are upon us.  I know this for certain now because Starbucks has broken out the red cups and has brought back the Gingerbread Latte (my favorite!)...

That being said, it is time for Holiday make up collections!  Surprise, surprise, I am DYING OVER Chanel's Holiday collection.

BE STILL MY BEATING HEART!!!!

The Holiday Glossimer Trio would make a great gift!

*hint, hint*

Speaking of Chanel, their Coco Mademoiselle spokes model, Keira Knightly looks beautiful in Lula magazine.

I love the styling and natural look of the hair and make up, AND I WANT THOSE BOOTS!

And then, speaking of actresses looking amazing, check out Jennifer Jason Leigh on the cover of Wonderland Magazine...

How great is that styling/hair/make up?!  She's one of my favorite actresses.  She keeps it real! I love her.

Lil Miss Sunshine

The first time I saw the Rihanna video for Umbrella, I thought I was going to cry.  Her hair, make up,  and styling were so beautifully done, it literally made my heart ache!

As with most girls I know, that song was pretty much the soundtrack to my Summer...

I'm only telling you this because I've been on a yellow nail varnish kick lately.  I've recently purchased Sunrise Yellow by Mattese N.Y.C.

and Creamy by Zoya

Well, looks like my girl RiRi (or her make up artist/manicurist...) has been thinking the same thing...

(these cutie pie pics via MTV.com)

You know what they say about great minds... ;)
